​Chai Recipes for the Holidays!


Chai is the perfect type of tea for the holidays, with its rich cinnamon, ginger, and clove flavours. Yum!

Try our Chili Chai spicy black tea or our Chai Jambouree herbal tea in these festive recipes:

Chai Hot Toddy

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and steep 1.5 tsp. of chai tea for 3-5 min.
  2. Add
  • 1 tsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • (Optional) 1-2 oz of bourbon or rum (spiced rum is extra-festive!)

Stir and enjoy!

Traditional Chai Brew

  1. Bring 2 cups of milk to a simmer (do not boil) in a pot on the stove.
  2. Boil 2 cups of water in a separate pot on the stove, add 5 tsp of chai tea, and continuing boiling for 2-4 min.
  3. Pour the water and tea through a fine mesh sieve into the hot milk.
  4. Add 3 tbsp of honey or brown sugar and stir, continuing to gently simmer for 1 min.
  5. Serve, with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
